Marisol shares her love and joy of Pilates with others through her experience with mindful movement. From running and kickboxing, to bootcamps and interval training, she has always integrated and prioritized exercise and wellness into her life. Her journey with Pilates provided her with a deeper sense of wellness, giving her strength, mobility and vitality.
Inspired by how great she felt on and off the mat, from doing everyday tasks to leading a team of marketing creatives, she decided to become certified to deepen her understanding, knowledge and practice. In 2019 she became a certified Pilates teacher completing a comprehensive 450-hour teacher training program. Teaching was not initially on her radar, but she soon realized she enjoyed sharing her love and the benefits of Pilates with others.
Her journey into Pilates came about after an exercise-related injury led her to physical therapy. Her goal after physical therapy was to find a form of exercise that kept her body strong and her movement supple. She discovered Pilates – and unexpectedly fell in love. The mindfulness component of moving with purpose, precision and integrity spoke to her. Pilates is her “superpower” and the best habit she’s developed for long-term wellness.
As a Pilates teacher, Marisol helps others develop a better sense of awareness and connection to their bodies – and to find their “superpower”. She wants her clients to know the benefits of Pilates go beyond the studio. “Pilates is a unique trinity of a balanced body, mind and spirit” that enhances your overall well-being and builds confidence.
